A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party service that provides the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the details in your message only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Our host may record standard server-log information, including IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. We use aggregated information to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
Use of Information
Information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process logs for us, while analytics or advertising partners may receive the technical information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, the site does not maintain visitor passwords or account profiles.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website holds. Research for this project did not identify a general Pennsylvania consumer data-broker deletion statute to cite here. Because we retain very little, a request usually involves checking our contact mailbox and server logs, then removing applicable information. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Pennsylvania, Berks County, or Reading custodians are outside our control and must be addressed to the relevant office.
